Do you know the saying that you feel like you’ve just had a week and a half of it?

My goodness!  It seems SO STRANGE to realise that our little boy, our special gift from God, is 12 years old today.

So now I have reached the grand old age of 51.  As a child I never dreamed I would find myself living in a beautiful area of Scotland, married to a Scottish man and now viewing myself as a Scot, too.

Well, I know you must have been thinking when the next “news” from me was coming.  I will admit it has been longer than I anticipated.  But I can tell you I had good reason for doing so.

Well, I know you are probably wondering what has been going on with us.  My writing and inspiration has been spotty at best but things are beginning to improve thank goodness. 

Seeing Kevin starting his new job has been very rewarding.  He has been enjoying the challenge of learning the new role and the new situation he finds himself in.

Well, there is quite a bit of news, I guess.  So many different things have been happening.  I just wanted to fill you all in on what has been going on.

The very first thing I ought to tell you about is that Kevin is starting a new job at the end of June. 

Well, here we are, this year is going by way too  fast for my liking. 

Some time back, I completed the online sleep assessment and you get a score up to 24 or 25 and if you are over 16 then it’s essential you get referred to the sleep clinic.

Well, i went into hospital before Valentine’s Day and returned home before Easter.  It has been really weird trying to get back to ‘normal” life again, but with needing more support than I did before. 

How are you all doing? I know you have been wondering where I am and what is going on. It has been a long time since I have written I know and I have been wanting to.

Well yes, here I am still in hospital as you have no doubt guessed judging by the lack of posts last week. I will admit last week wasn’t great for me.
