Thoughts of the Week 23

I was considering talking to you about being proactive because it has been on my mind quite a bit recently.  But whatever way I sliced the pie, no matter how I introduced it, the whole concept just wasn’t coming over properly, so after some attempts I have decided to see what I really am going to say.

As you know, I have many physical, mental and emotional issues.  These can impact me in different ways and sometimes it’s not easy to cope with different stresses in life.  That doesn’t mean I don’t try, but there are times I find life more complicated than I should.

I live with autism in the house and people that enjoy games I have no comprehension of and whose computer skills far exceed mine.  Not that it matters because we are all individuals and have different skills and abilities.

In fact, we all find things we can do that bring us joy.  Sometimes, what you discover about yourself can be truly unexpected.  The other day, I was talking with a friend about crafting and she introduced me to something else I had never heard of and it touched me that she would share this with me.

So now, I am beginning to think about that type of crafting and work out how I can begin starting it for myself.  There are so many crafts I have thought I wanted to do and discovered that actually, I don’t.  But this one I think will bring me great joy.

TREASURE

We are all different and unique individuals and the things that bring us joy reflects that.
