Some Days

I am not going to lie to you. I try to be as honest as is possible with the words I use to try and communicate the message I have for you.

But, as I am sure you know as well as I do - there are times when words are simply inadequate. And you cannot express yourself to others because words just don’t come.

On the other hand, sometimes words flow easily and you create life and joy and happiness and look for the silver lining in hard places - or the rare plant in the middle of a rock that somehow finds a way to flourish.

My desire is to help you make new discoveries where you can learn and grow by looking at what brings you joy. Even when life is faltering around you, somewhere, somehow there is a reason for hope.

I must admit that there are times I don’t see these things myself, but that doesn’t stop me from trying. It may take days, weeks, months or years, but you have to recognise that’s ok.

My delight in helping others any way I can is, I trust, one of the best things about me. I have lived and continue to live through a lot. Not that I wish to do so, but if it means it gives me an opportunity to help others in different ways……

Sometimes it is not given to us to see positive things in a situation but that doesn’t mean they aren’t there. If I could peel back the sky and could see into all the blessings would I want to? I thought I would but now I am not so sure.

It is possible to find the good in a situation, but sometimes it is hard to see, while others are revealed later in life. Would you want to peel back the sky and see everything laid bare before you?
